Cake Pricing
Tiered Cakes
Buttercream or Whipped Cream Iced cakes starting at $4.00 per serving.
Rolled Fondant covered cakes starting at $5.50 per serving.
The price per serving is dependent on the complexity of your custom cake design. The cost of your cake is determined by the price per serving multiplied by the total number of servings your cake yields. Your flavors do not influence the cost of your tiered cake.
Half Sheet Cake has approx. 48 servings and starts at $85.00
Full Sheet Cake has approx. 96 servings and starts at $125.00
The price of Fresh and Sugar Flowers is based on your cake sizes and your selection of flowers. You may purchase fresh flowers through us to be placed on your cake.
We do not offer single tier cakes ala carte, without the minimum purchase of cupcakes. See below for cupcake information. The smallest size cake we offer starts at a 2 tier round or square 6" & 8" size that yields 36 or 43 servings, respectively.Mini Cakes
Our mini cakes are only available in round, no squares. This is a round 3" x 2" mini cake and made up of 2 layers of cake and 1 layer of filling.
Buttercream iced mini cakes start at $10.00 each.
Fondant iced mini cakes start at $12.00 each.
The price per mini cake is dependent on the complexity of your custom cake design.
Minimum order for mini cakes are 2 dozen (24 mini cakes) and ordered by the dozen thereafter. Flavors are ordered by the dozen.
Cupcakes
Cupcakes start at $3.00 each.
Minimum order is 5 dozen (60 cupcakes) and ordered by the dozen thereafter. Flavors are ordered by the dozen.
Cream Filled Cupcakes start at $3.50 each.
Minimum order is 5 dozen (60 cupcakes) and ordered by the dozen thereafter. Flavors are ordered by the dozen.
Mini Cupcakes start at $1.25 each.
Minimum order is 8 dozen (96 cupcakes) and ordered by the 2 dozen thereafter. Flavors are orders by the 2 dozen.
Mini cupcakes cannot be cream filled.
The cost per cupcake includes any flavor cupcake embellished with matching color icing and/or simple accent toppers (i.e. Cherry Blossoms, Butterflies, Stars, Hearts, Daisies, Ocean theme items). Other gumpaste sugar flower toppers such as Hibiscus, Plumeria, Orchids or Roses can be provided for an additional charge.
Delivery & Set Up
Delivery & Set up fees are as follows:
- $30.00 - Honolulu (between Moanalua to Hawaii Kai, excluding Waikiki)
- $50.00 - Waikiki, Aiea, Pearl City
- $60.00 - Kaneohe, Kailua, Waimanalo, Mililani, Wahiawa, Waipahu, Waikele, Kunia
- $70.00 - Lanikohonua, Ko Olina, Haleiwa, Ewa, Kualoa Ranch
- $80.00 - Nanakuli, Waianae, Makaha, Pupukea, Turtle Bay, Kahuku, Laie, Hauula
You may arrange a pick up of your cake in advance. We do not guarantee the safety of your cake if we do not deliver. A delivery fee will automatically be charged for cakes requiring on-site assembly.
Consultations:
Our consultations are held by appointment only Monday thru Thursday between 10am - 5pm. Our weekends, Friday through Sunday, are reserved for our the completion of our booked orders. We do not do consultations during these dates so we can focus and dedicate our attention to fulfilling your order.
There is a $25.00 fee for all consultations in order to reserve your appointment time. The consultation fee, which needs to be paid for in advance, includes a one hour sit down appointment during which we discuss some designs for your cake and do a cake tasting of 6 of our most popular flavors. You can give us a call and we can run your card info over the phone or we can send you a Paypal request for the fee, let us know which you'd prefer. We ask that you please be on time as consultations are booked back to back. The consultation fee is refundable up to one week prior to your consultation, any cancellations after one week prior are non-refundable.
We recommend both you and your fiance attend the consultation. However, if you want to invite other friends or family to attend, that will be fine but we ask that no more than 4 people attend.

Payment
Due to the detail, customization and attention we give to each cake, we can only accommodate a limited number of cakes per day and will close out the date. We strongly recommend you contact us regarding your cake as soon as you know the date and venue of your event. Overall, we ask that orders be placed 3-4 months in advance for weddings and at least a month in advance for event cakes and cupcakes.
A 40% Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable Retainer is due in order to secure the date of your event. The Retainer is equal to 40% of your total cost for your cake. Orders canceled up to 30 days prior to event date will receive a full refund, less any retainer. NO REFUNDS on orders canceled less than 30 days prior to the event date. Any cancelations must be made in writing to "A Cake Life, LLC". All orders must be finalized by 30 days prior to event date. A Cake Life, LLC shall not be held responsible for "forces of nautre" events. Full balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event.
Any NSF check will be assessed a $50.00 surcharge.
Orders placed with less than 30 days notice are considered a rush and full balance is required upfront. For balances less than $300.00, we require full balance upfront.
